The Peddars Way is the yellow line
On Wednesday I shall be meeting Alan and Darren to walk the Peddars Way in Norfolk. While it’s 46 miles long it has close to zero up and down and is almost arrow straight (following a Roman road most of the way). It is completely different to the walking I’ve done over the past few years. We are doing it in three days, so we’ll be doing some reasonable mileage. The weather forecast has been steadily improving, so it should be good fun. No doubt Alan will be live blogging, so you should be able to follow our progress. I’ll start packing tomorrow.
Forecast is looking good for the SE for the next few days so do enjoy!
We were supposed to be going to the Killin area today but the winds were forecast to be gusting to 75mph so we tackled Mount Keen instead – got the best part of the day!
There is a good 470meters of up awaiting you Robin. I am hoping to catch you all friday for the day. if not the pub on Thursday night for a pint.
470m over 46 miles doesn’t sound too bad 😉
Hope you can make it.
With the wind speed increasing your choice of low level walking should fit the bill. Have a good trip and a few beers of course.
I think it is good to have a bit of change from mountains once in awhile. Have a good trip.
