Goodbye Patch

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful little dog, Patch today. She had been suffering from Cushing’s and other health issues. Over the last year she had gradually been getting worse. Today she lost the use of one of her back legs. The scan revealed a blot clot which was impossible to treat. Unfortunately there were no options. She was fourteen and a half and had lived a good life. Until the middle of last year she had been fit and healthy but her zest for life started to wane and she was diagnosed as having Cushing’s at the end of last year. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have her as our dog and we will miss her terribly. Thank you in anticipation of your condolences. Forgive me if I don’t respond promptly but it’s too raw at the moment.
