Yesterday was a gloriously sunny day. Despite recovering from a stomach problem (not sure what it is), I went out for another training walk in Epping Forest. Due to my delicate physical state, I went for a shorter walk at an ambling pace. It was so warm that I carried my windproof jacket most of the time.
The trees are starting to bud, so it won’t be long until we get a glorious burst of green. After a very mild winter (we’ve only had four frosts all winter), the wild life is becoming more noticeable and vociferous. There are lots of birds around. I’ve seen some bees and even a butterfly. It’s a good time to be out and about.
