It’s been just over three months since the operation on Patch’s leg. Last week she had an X-ray which showed that her knee has healed and that everything is OK. The one slight disappointment is that she has arthritis and still skips occasionally. The vet has recommended some hydrotherapy, which should be amusing as she hates water. It’s great to be able to take her out for short walks and we can already see that the muscle on her haunches are being rebuilt. Hopefully, as we extend her walks, she will become stronger and the skipping will diminish. We know the other leg has a similar problem, but, as yet, there are no signs of dislocation.
