A taster

I’m quite tired from traveling today. I’ll write some reports over the course of the next couple of weeks on the trip and gear, but, in the meantime, here’s a couple of pictures (from the 266 I took!) to whet your appetite.

Early morning mist over Angle Tarn, Hanging Knots (Bowfell) lit up by the rising sun

  1. Sheila and i were in the Upper Esk on that beautiful Tuesday and wild camped. Wednesday we headed up to Esk Hause in the rain and mist. We planned to go onto Glaramara and then do the tops and camp at three tarns. But we chose the FWA and headed off down Rossett to Langdale. We had a lovely weeks walk.
Love your photo of Angle tarn, we didn’t get to see much of it when we passed.
Look forward to seeing your remainder. Cheers—Alan
