Luck rather than judgement

Sometimes you are there at the right moment for a photo. I’m a snapper rather than a photographer, but this one worked out rather well and is one of my favourites. It was just a point and shoot, but I like it. Some how (luck), the composition seems just right.

  1. Nice picture – I only saw Glen Tilt through rain on this year’s Challenge. It started just after leaving Blair Atholl and hadn’t stopped by the time I pitched the tent at White Bridge – a great day though! The pic looks like the part just after Forest Lodge?

  2. Yes, that’s right. Often regimented conifers detract from a scene, but here they provide an interesting contrast, as does the sun and shadow. I didn’t realise it at the time.
