More suntan stuff

Thanks for the feedback. Dermatone doesn’t appear to be very widely available, unfortunately. Yes I could decant some. In fact the best stuff I’ve used is P20. I bought some more small plastic containers so I could do that. It also appears that Boots do their own brand Soltan in 50ml collapsible containers, so I might see what they are like. They are probably slightly lighter than the rigid plastic ones and presumably you can squeeze all of the sunscreen out of them.

  1. Tesco do those foil pouch suncreams too. I’ve been using them for a couple of years now. The packaging has proved to be perfectly durable despite abuse, and as you say you can squeeze every last drop out.

Only seen them up to factor 30, mind.

  2. That sort of packaging is perfect. Like you say, you can get more out of it and like a Platypus bottle it gets smaller with every use. Lighter too, Everyone’s a winner!

Dermatone is sold everywhere over here. There isn’t a sports/outdoor/climbing shop in Bergen that doesn’t carry the stuff. The lip balm, for those of us afflicted with needing the stuff is magic.

  3. Yep, that’s the one I have – from last year, and it’s still effective – but not a kids version.
